This investigation revealed how Long Island, New York’s dominant residential real estate brokerages helped reinforce racial segregation through illegal steering of customers. Bill will take us through a guided tour inside the investigation that has prompted investigations by federal and state authorities across the country. It has also led to changes at the National Association of REALTORS® that include anti-bias training for agents and developing an interactive training simulation to help agents identify and confront discrimination in home homebuying.”
